How it works
- 1Enter your birth details
Date, exact time and place of birth. The more precise the time, the more accurate your Ascendant and Nakshatra padas.
- 2We compute the chart
VSOP87 and ELP-2000/82 give sidereal positions to within a fraction of a degree, then the Ayanamsa, houses, Dashas, yogas and doshas are derived.
- 3Read the verdict
Eight classical schools analyse your Kundli and a Master Acharya synthesises one clear reading you can act on.
A Kundli is only as trustworthy as the astronomy behind it. A planet placed even a fraction of a degree off can land in the wrong Nakshatra pada and quietly change an entire reading. The Acharya Jyotish free Kundli calculator was built to remove that doubt: the same astronomical models that power professional ephemerides, exposed through a clear, modern interface.
Calculation you can verify
Most online Kundli generators never tell you how their numbers are produced. Ours does. Planetary longitudes come from VSOP87 (Sun and planets) and ELP-2000/82 (the Moon) — the theories that underpin Swiss Ephemeris — and every release is checked by a parity suite against Swiss Ephemeris and Jagannatha Hora. The headline tolerances: 0.05° for planets, 0.1° for the Moon, 0.02° for the Ascendant. That precision is what lets the chart resolve Nakshatra padas, divisional-chart placements and Shadbala correctly.
More than a chart — a panel of masters
Where most tools stop at a chart and a templated paragraph, Acharya Jyotish runs your Kundli through eight classical and modern schools of Jyotish and synthesises their views. You see where Parashari, Jaimini and KP agree — and exactly where they part ways. It is the closest thing to consulting several astrologers at once, without the wait or the cost.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Kundli calculator really free?+
Yes. A complete Kundli with the Rashi and Navamsa charts, the Vimshottari Dasha and a yoga and dosha reading is free. Advanced features such as all 19 divisional charts, the full eight-Guru debate and PDF export are available on a paid plan.
How accurate is the calculation?+
Acharya Jyotish uses VSOP87 for the Sun and planets and ELP-2000/82 for the Moon — the astronomical theories behind Swiss Ephemeris. Parity tests show agreement within 0.05° for planets, 0.1° for the Moon and 0.02° for the Ascendant, with Shadbala matched against Jagannatha Hora to within ±0.03 Rupa.
Which Ayanamsa does it use?+
Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) is the default, calibrated to match Swiss Ephemeris at J2000. You can also switch to Raman, Krishnamurti or Yukteshwar Ayanamsa.
How many divisional charts do I get?+
Nineteen vargas, from the D1 (Rasi) through the D144, including the standard sixteen plus the higher D81, D108 and D144 charts.
What does 'eight Gurus' mean?+
Your chart is interpreted from the perspectives of eight classical and modern masters — Parashara, Varahamihira, B. V. Raman, K. N. Rao, K. S. Krishnamurti, Jaimini, Mantreshwara and Kalyanavarman — and the differing views are synthesised into a single verdict.
